Keep the Elements Out
You’ll find it much easier to preserve the quality of your workspace if you’re not contending with the elements. The problem with water entering is that it can take a while before you realize you have an issue, at which point, it’ll take a lot of effort to fix things. If your building is structurally secure, then eventually, water will leak in — and once it’s in, it can be challenging to get it back out again. Finally, remember that you shouldn’t just focus on the interior part of your workspace. That might be the most critical area, but it’s not the only area. The outside is important too — for one thing, and this is the first thing that your visitors see. Plus, it sets the tone for the rest of your building. All too often, you’ll find structures with signs that are missing letters or which have dirty windows and so forth. These challenges may not directly influence your work, but they have a subtle impact on the quality of your company.
