Attract the Right Job Or Clientele:
A New Week Can Bring New Results
It’s normal to face stress on Monday morning; it is best to recall that a new week can bring new results. The past is gone, with the future ahead of us but with one exception. Our one success strategy for moving forward is to realize and embrace the lessons we learned from the previous week’s mishaps to move forward on a more even footing.
My Story
As an entrepreneur, employee, or the CEO of an organization, it’s easy for stress to take over and rule our thoughts. But we accomplish little when we allow this to occur. Instead, positive thinking helps bring about new ideas, a touch of creativity, and hope for the week ahead.
On Monday morning, it is best to review what has yet to be completed, the target dates for completion, and the order of tasks. Instead of worrying about what we did not finish last week, it is best when we move our attention to what we can do today and complete tomorrow. The more efficient technique is to create a running list of tasks and check them off as we proceed.
Upon working behind the scenes with the grueling details of what we need to do, it is wise to schedule daily calls with current clientele to ensure they are pleased with what we provide. Connecting with our happy clients allows time to hear their insights on what is working well and what to continue doing. In-between story-sharing typically takes hold to inspire all participants further. And as the conversations conclude, we feel the motivation to do more.
The point of feeling enthusiastic again is the perfect time to bring our attention to new business. Our daily attention to exploring possibilities and speaking with prospective clients is essential for ongoing business growth. Asking questions with curiosity is the all-time best sales technique to encourage further interest. Even if someone indicates they have no interest, it is best to ask if their response is equal to ‘never,’ or they may reconsider in the future. Often the matter involves waiting for funds to be in the budget.
Your Story
One approach worthy of consideration is to focus on the best possible outcome for the week ahead and for the long term. Review all the projects for contribution and prioritize them in order of importance. Ensure that you work on the highest-level undertaking every day so that some progress is in place and will help you to move forward toward your ultimate goal.
New Conversations Can Bring New Results
Upon conversing with a potential collaborative partner or prospective client, it’s always best to first connect the dots of what caught your interest for the meeting and theirs. Allow the other person to provide their insights, hopes for the future, and then exchange insights about the work each of you does.
Upon allowing for a free-flow conversation, more often, creative ideas and a higher level of enthusiasm will emerge. You are then likely to discuss various possibilities to realize that a new week can bring new results! The higher energy level usually encourages all parties to seek a way to work together actively.
Behind the scenes, it is a helpful practice to document the best of what takes place in conversations so that it becomes a natural occurrence. As the procedures become comfortable and a habit, the stress subsides when beginning a new work week. Even better, you may look forward to enjoying the new week and wonder about the new possibilities that may appear unexpectedly. The change of mindset is where stress turns into excitement and pride in your work.
In Conclusion: A New Week Can Bring New Results
As the above ideas become routine, we are far more likely to look forward to the beginning of the new week that can likely bring new results! Although Monday morning may not seem exciting, enthusiasm will likely pick up when our activity increases by the afternoon. By mid-week, we may realize the end of the week is nearby to challenge ourselves to do more in less time. As the week wraps up and we recognize our accomplishments for the week, we are far more likely to look forward to the new week ahead.
