Attract the Right Job Or Clientele:
Bad Days Do Not Need to Be Inevitable
Upon starting a new day, it is essential to remember that bad days do not need to be inevitable. Whether you are on the job, an entrepreneur, or operate a sizable company, mishaps and stress will occur. However, we can improve our procedures to minimize the pouring of bad days ahead.
My Story
On occasion, mishaps, stress, pressure from others, and the desire to quit no matter our profession hits most of us. But the problem with stopping is that the same will occur unless we recognize the issues in detail and are willing to step up to improve our game.
We do ourselves a favor by recognizing there will be a varying swing of good and not-so-good days ahead. But we can minimize the aggravation with the realization and the willingness to adjust whatever may require fixing. As we increase our experience, there is a straightforward strategy to implement that can keep us on track no matter the interruptions:
‘Tomorrow is a blank canvas; paint your vision today.
Despite all the pressure put upon us, a smile comes to us when we take time out for a moment or longer to mentally envision our ultimate goal. Deep down, it is the motivating force to continue going. Contemplating all the benefits of what our cherished desire may bring and possibly changing our life will increase our enthusiasm for moving forward.
The next step is creating a long-term plan to achieve the ultimate goal. It is envisioning and meditating on our future goals that help to perk our energy, and our motivation to overcome ongoing obstacles will also increase. And then, we can create associated goals moving backward in time, from the long-term to today, by noting projects to complete throughout the journey.
When we have a plan of action in place with the motivation to conquer whatever stands in our way today, we become unstoppable. Accordingly, bad days do not need to be inevitable, as we take control over doing what is necessary to achieve our desires.
Your Story: Bad Days Do Not Need to Be Inevitable
“Everything happens for a reason ~ or does it?
Whatever you believe will prove true for you.
Are you ready to seize the day and continue doing so?
What Do You See?
A common mantra through the years is to create a vision board and place it on the wall where you work. Accordingly, seeing it at the beginning and end of each day will be an excellent reminder of why you are doing your work. But it may do one well to consider additional factors associated with the board.
Take some time to answer the following questions as you may surprise yourself about what you are want and are willing to do:
- On a scale of 1-10: How important is it to achieve the vision you place on your wall?
- How will you feel if you quit before you accomplish the ultimate goal?
- What do you believe you need to learn to improve your effort?
- Why do you want to achieve your vision?
- How will you feel if you do or don’t do so?
- Will you put a specific plan of action to follow daily with deadlines for each project?
- Are you willing to test and revise plans as you move forward?
Now that your vision board is in front of you and you feel an increase in energy, commit to doing something each day to achieve your ultimate goal.
‘Why’ and ‘How’ are excellent starters for questions and more in-depth conversations. Upon networking at events or speaking with peers, inquire about the new efforts they are putting in and how they are going about them. The questions sometimes lead to revelations that might otherwise never come to mind. At the same time, observe the person’s facial expressions, body language, and gestures to gain more insight into what they are telling you.
Check for consistency before agreeing to pay for help or partnering with another. When everyone is on a level playing field whereby everyone counts, you can hear everyone’s ideas and will be far more likely to walk away with valuable ideas for proceeding. Best of all, you will come to realize that bad days do not need to be inevitable.
In Conclusion: Bad Days Do Not Need to Be Inevitable
When we take the time to plan out our goals and how we will achieve them, you will realize that bad days do not need to be inevitable.
