Do You See Yourself As Unstoppable?
Before we can proceed as being unstoppable, uncovering the burning questions of what we plan to achieve and why it is so meaningful to us is essential. Without meaning and reasoning, most everything goes by the wayside; however, those who precisely know what is on their agenda and why are far more likely to succeed.
My Story
A recent question posed was about regaining enthusiasm for moving forward. Sometimes, we must leave our serious work behind to meditate or actively involve ourselves in an entirely different activity. The lyrics by the Doobie Brothers come to mind:
‘Listen to the music!’
Listening to music puts me in another dimension, far away from serious business. Often, I can relate to the words to suddenly realize a way out of a situation or a better way to move forward. Emphasizing the point, the song, Up On The Roof, written by Carol King and originally sung by The Drifters, contains the following lyrics:
‘When this old world starts getting me down
And people are just too much for me to face
I climb way up to the top of the stairs
And all my cares just drift right into space
On the roof, it’s peaceful as can be
And there, the world below can’t bother me…’
Listening to the music instills creative ideas to follow up on upon returning to work. And generally, these are the ideas that capture more attention.
Enjoy Nature
When we step away from computers, apps, and unrelenting work to enjoy nature in the outdoors, again, our minds wander with us on a new path. Whether hiking, biking, taking photographs, or merely admiring and photographing the scenery surrounding us, it becomes a breath of fresh air on many levels.
Like travel, moving to a new area alerts us regarding the changes we see and experience. For me, the wildlife is a remarkable experience to witness. Most recently, the beauty and quickness of a brown fox caught my attention.
The above contributes to free thinking with ideas of ‘what ifs’ to follow. The next step is to capture the most appealing idea and examine it from all sides to determine if it can be achievable with attention to detail. But first, it’s best to realize why it catches our attention and the significance of it. Doing so puts one in the right mindset to devise a plan to convert the idea into a successful outcome.
Traditional Work
Returning to the must-do details of traditional work, the agenda receives a revision to figure out how to test and incorporate the new idea that appeals to me most. It then becomes an essential part of the overall business plan.

Engineers who embrace more critical thinking can similarly benefit by taking breaks to enjoy doing something entirely different. Ideas come to most people upon relaxing. However, those willing to test the thought can break barriers and become known as unstoppable.
Should you wonder why your ideas never seem good enough in corporate or among friends, you may possess unique thoughts to help you stand out among the crowded playing field. Instead of ignoring it, build your ideas into a new strategy or career. Otherwise, ignoring possibilities will only bring about the feeling of mediocrity instead of proudly standing out from the crowd.
Results begin and end with the unique self. The question is, are you ready to take responsibility to see yourself as unstoppable? With determination, almost anything is possible to achieve.

Upon incorporating creative thought with traditional work, unexpected results often occur for the better. We attract more attention and opportunities to serve more robust communities, and the cycle continues, improving our results.
