Attract the Right Job Or Clientele:

Are You Building A Ladder to the Stars and Beyond?

When we begin our careers, the outcomes we hear about sound improbable, giving way to asking ourselves, ‘Are you building a ladder to the stars and beyond?’ Many will wonder how on earth anyone does do that. But more importantly, the question becomes, how can I do that to succeed?

Most often, the issue of quitting is due to the overwhelm by the incredible outcome we want to achieve. For this one reason alone, proper planning, goal setting, and achievement with processes in place are necessary to get through the learning phase to realize a couple of small initial accomplishments.

My Story

As with any situation, there are pluses and minuses to working in a corporate environment versus as an entrepreneur. The one benefit of corporate experience upfront is that we receive undesirable experiences that we wish would never have come our way but give us the reality we need to move forward, alongside realizing what will work best in our favor—accepting the worst as our better life lesson motivates to move past and the realization of how to do so. Additionally, we receive a steady paycheck to pay our bills, whether the amount is fair or not, versus having to fend for ourselves.

Stubbornness is required to pursue what is essential and realize what will work best. It is inevitable to encounter people who will attempt to hold us back, no matter our endeavor. Accordingly, knowing our daily ritual for goals, learning, and have-to-do’s is essential to move past the noise in the background and look upward to the sky to attempt a ladder to the stars and beyond.

Goals with Expiration Dates

It’s easy to celebrate when we achieve what we set out to do, and it is necessary to accept that not all milestones come to fruition. Early in entrepreneurship, I was taught that goals without a due date are meaningless for most because they view them as not holding enough importance to push them aside. But when we add an expiration date, attention to the details becomes our reality. Rarely will something work out as we plan on the first attempt. Most will exclaim it’s of no use. But the rare person with a dedication to trial and error, revision, and repeatedly trying new ways differentiates them, the successful people, from those with a lack of motivation.

Balance Working On Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

Another success factor is to balance completing the short-term goals with measurably working on their long-term efforts—every evening, review what needs to complete the next day to prioritize the short-term goals. Also, study the long-term effect you want to accomplish and work daily to witness progress.

Balancing our attention to detail and short-term goals with our long-range ideals will significantly benefit our program. While there are times when we feel like giving up, we know full well that will never happen until there is nothing new for us to achieve. The success differentiator is still going and always seeking better strategies for advancement. Over time, it will feel like we are building a ladder to the stars and beyond.

Your Story: Building A Ladder to the Stars and Beyond

Solopreneur vs. Collaborative Partner

In the early years, we often find it necessary to work alone to apply our interests and desires to our work. But there comes a time when we can only accomplish some of what we want working by ourselves. That is when the collaborative effort within a group of people holding similar values comes into play for robust action. The willingness to promote one another whose work you admire boomerangs back with far greater visibility and surprising offers of opportunity.

Achieving your unspoken dreams will seem like a fairy tale until you begin formalizing them. But when you develop the courage to realize your internal beliefs and desires, you can achieve what most view as unimaginable. It takes courage to stand up for yourself and go against popular opinion. You may find the need to work alone until you figure out precisely what you want and plan how you will achieve it.

In the early stages of an unusual idea, ridicule will likely come your way. But the determination to continue learning and growing will have you meeting others who respect you. Step by step, you may receive helpful suggestions, offers of help, and ultimately.

In Conclusion: Building A Ladder to the Stars and Beyond

Promoting one another contributes to building a familiar brand name and provides a broader reach and prospective client attention. Business opportunities magically increase as if we are building a ladder to the stars and beyond when we find our peer group dedicated to making it happen. The magic ingredient is to believe in oneself to make your dreams come true.
