Attract the Right Job or Clientele:
To Be the Best Learn from the Best for Success
We live in a world of free-flowing information, so no excuse exists for not being willing to learn. We have the choice to commit and choose our preferred learning style. It’s critical to choose who we follow and, more so, from whom we take advice. One inappropriate connection or suggestion can almost destroy the work done to date. Therefore, the saying is, ‘to be the best, learn from the best for success.

My Story
Uncovering what a person stands for is easier than ever, with the facts available in seconds when doing a Google search or using similar methods. The only thing standing in the way is laziness, which raises the question, are you motivated to succeed?
Classic Books
I occasionally mention how the Dale Carnegie Speaking Class and book, ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People,’ significantly increased my confidence and put me on a better path to sales success.
The most notable change was relaxing enough to stop a serious business conversation when a remark reminded me of a story to share. Typically, laughter and more story-sharing by all parties took place, and the bond began to build, followed by the sale. The initial experience of heeding expert advice gifted me with knowledge of how to exceed sales expectations, and I then wrote my book, Nice Girls DO Get the Sale.

Throughout my sales career, I found the book SPIN Selling helpful. I could never remember all the questions to ask prospective buyers. The four-letter acronym SPIN represents the ideal ones to ask: Situation, Problem, Implied Problem, and Need. From that point forward, I was always on track.
Climb the Learning Curve
As times change, affecting our communications efforts, it’s more vital than ever to remain current and ahead of the curve to do well. With the advantage of online networking and familiarizing ourselves with the work of others, it would be almost negligent not to continue to learn from the best for success.

- Unsticking Deals, James Muir
‘Why deals stall. How to Unstick them and prevent them from sticking in the first place.
I agreed with the words and actions suggested in James Muir’s book, which was to send a note telling him that he gave away all the sales secrets!
2. Attraction Selling, Justin Michael
Attraction Selling
Upon opening the attraction-selling book, I couldn’t help but speed read through it. Why? In addition to being helpful, the content is highly motivating and inspiring, making me crave more to read. It is an unusual reading experience but one I genuinely recommend!
Your Story
Alone time is the best time to review how far you have come, the potential missing pieces in your journey, and how you plan to achieve your next move upward. Each person’s learning style differs, and it’s wise to acknowledge what works best for you.
Consider your ultimate achievement and work backward to determine how you plan to get there. Uncover the missing ingredients you need to do it. Next, prioritize what will work in your best interests and set goals for the learning phases. Although it may seem time-consuming, doing it purposefully should pay off well.
In Conclusion: To Be the Best Learn from the Best for Success
Know that statistics are temporary. Achieving anything you desire requires a steadfast mindset with purpose. Negating the negative sentiments we hear and believing we can do what we most desire is critical to making dreams come true. ‘Believe you can, and you will!’ then, take appropriate actions without letting up to claim, I did it!
