“I Can See Clearly Now…”

The title above comes from lyrics to a song, and the sentence concludes, “The rain is gone.”

Have you ever felt as if you were headed for the middle of a severe rainstorm not knowing which direction to take toward the sunshine?  Most of us have been there and it isn’t fun except the knowing that once it is figured out, we will step into the light.  One Tweet caught my attention recently, “The darkest moment allows the brightest light to shine through.”

Yestrday, I had the privilege of speaking at a Brahma Kumaris Meditation Retreat Center.  It was in a beautiful location and the space brought tranquility to all.  The subject matter of meditation came up.  I always reflect upon where I currently am, where I am headed and how I am going to get there.  It is business development at its best for me because it allows the creative side to flow and frequently new ideas come about.  But I wasn’t certain it qualified as meditation.

Upon ending the session, I was generously gifted a book on the subject matter by Mike George.  Entrepreneurship requires continued education and so last night I read Chapter One to learn more.

My question for you is, should you be about to interview for a new job or are a business owner, Are you able to see clearly now?  Do you still hold a long term vision and have a plan in place for getting there?  Are adjustments in your approach becoming necessary?
