Virtue of Maturity

I used to panic, believe it was my fault, and be difficult to work with whenever a technology mishap occurred. But as my busienss and I matured together, I recognized, “You know what”, happens periodically and there is little we can do to prevent it.

Friends have said due to Mercury in retrograde or because of the full moon these mishaps occur. I have no idea what happened but without warning, my website went down for at least 30 hours. Yesterday happened to feature a beautiful full moon – coincidence?

Nevertheless, due to having once had my website hacked, social media pages locking me out and a variety of other mishaps, I learned to view being down 30 hours as a gift to enjoy more of the outdoors. No panic, just enjoying my surroundings. It’s far better than stressing and trying to fight it.

In the U.S. we have a holiday tomorrow, July 4th, our Independence Day. For just one day, may we all be independent of mishaps, technology and even work. I wish you the happiest of holidays – even if you do not celebrate ours, celebrate the virtue of a day off from work!

When you do return to job hunting, interviewing and business development in a relaxed state of mind – it will all seem as if it were a Smooth Sale!
