Embrace This Habit!

It was SO frustrating trying to work with a couple of businesspeople, I had to back out.  Should you be interviewing for a job, consider if you are experiencing the same:

  1. Too much talking on their part

  2. Incorrect dirrections to their establishment

  3. Lack of timely response to questions

When listening is ignored the signal we receive is that we are unimportant and we feel a lack of respect. This adds fuel to the fire to find a different supplier or hiring company.

In order to sidestep these issues and gain more business, ask these questions:

1.  Where does your interest lie?

2.  What is your budget?

3.  When do you need the information by? Deliver early if at all possible.

Listening to your clients or the hiring manager is the most improtant thing you can do when trying to sell services or your qualifications.   Timeliness includes punctuality on appointments as well as responding in a timely manner through all other means of communication such as email and phone.

Delivering as your client wishes, or finding common ground with the job applicant will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
