When our values and goals are aligned, and we hold them close to our hearts, others will notice the value we offer, which helps build trust. The concept applies both personally and professionally to all that we do and wish to accomplish. Sadly, many believe that if they continue with the crowd, they will do well, but that rarely happens, as the outcome is ‘being one of many’ rather than standing out so others can recognize the talent behind the person. However, by embracing our unique traits and thinking, while embracing honesty, and remaining true to our values, our mindset can and will plant and fertilize trust for business growth.

Long ago, there was a game show entitled, ‘Who Do You Trust?” The title caught my attention and remains with me to this day. As a salesperson, one has to prove oneself trustworthy through active listening and asking deep questions to better understand. Moreover, salespeople and entrepreneurs must respond to questions with genuine respect, courtesy, and accurate answers. Similarly, those employed must answer management’s questions with due diligence and honesty. No matter our endeavor, ‘Mindset can plant and fertilize trust for business growth.’

Ari Galper caught my attention online, encouraging a dialogue and leading me to read his book, How To Live A Trust-Based Life! I highly recommend the read, as it offers excellent insights that are easy to embrace.

The book is filled with excellent insights for business and everyday life, and the bonus is that it’s an easy read. Moreover, it stimulates reflection on how we work, live, and how we can improve our outcomes. On another note, one line suggests considering the time when someone gave you their full attention and how it made you feel. The one question offers motivation for serious consideration from multiple angles to determine who we appreciate most, why, and how we may pass that feeling along for personal and professional well-being.

Sharing Experiences to Assist Others

When we share our experiences, both the good and the bad, not only can we spread helpful insights, but we can also encourage others to share their own insights, potentially helping improve our efforts. And when the moment arrives when we disagree, instead of allowing an argumentative response to take hold, it’s best to inquire why one believes what they express. Potentially, we can realize a deeper meaning, a factor we may be missing, or ask more questions to confirm whether we hold the same belief.

As we become comfortable with who we are, how we represent ourselves, and realize we can help communities at large, the idea of writing a book of our own is worthy of serious consideration. On another level, writing and publishing what we learn extends our reach to help more people. Being of service to communities at large helps more people than we could ever imagine, including ourselves. In other words, we begin to experience what I refer to as ‘The Boomerang Effect’: what we put out comes back to us, and the results are more extensive than we initially realize.

First and foremost, we must pledge to always proceed with honesty, as the first person we must trust is ourselves; otherwise, no one will believe us. Admittedly, it took me decades to do so, but my underlying motto is, ‘Never Give Up, Find A Better Way!’ Looking back on my life, I’m grateful for the horrific lessons I had to learn, which ultimately helped me achieve my goals and connect with remarkable people. Always keep in mind that the collaborative approach is ‘A Win for All!’
