Attract the Right Job or Clientele:
Increase Excitement Increase Success
Reflect back to those special times when the seemingly perfect job offer was introduced to you, or when you met with a new prospective client recognizing they would be the perfect match.
Most likely, you felt very excited and unstoppable, as if anything were possible, at that special moment in time. You became the leader, ready to tackle whatever it took to make the job or the new client happen. Motivation kicked into high gear to turn the new possibilities into reality.
Duplicate
The question becomes how can you duplicate those special moments in time to experience them more frequently? Should you be able to multiply moments like those, your career will advance more quickly than ever thought possible.
Your transformation begins with recalling the details of the experience that first comes to mind. How did the connection begin and what were the details that made it so exciting? List everything that spoke to you to determine if the same would still be true. Or is there anything you might change for the future to once again experience similar excitement? List those changes.
Thinking about the current day, what else do you need to add to the list to find your next job or business opportunity that will be as motivating as the previous one? Once again add to the list.
Acknowledge
As you start compiling your list and seriously contemplate, begin a new list detailing the types of new opportunities you are seeking. Every keyword or descriptive word that comes to mind should be jotted down. By concentrating on these words and your lists, you will be more in tune as people speak to you and ask to connect. The idea is to connect with those similarly aligned as they are the connectors to future possibilities.
Time
It is said that “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and that “Time is your best friend”. By concentrating on that which excites and motivates you, and implementing one task each day, over time more and more possibilities will come your way. Commitment to a daily routine is required to those achieve long-term goals.
Celebrate
Every six months have a meeting with yourself to see how far you have come. Tweak what could be improved, discard what isn’t working so well, and leverage that which works best. You will be headed for the Smooth Sale!
