Attract the Right Job or Clientele:  Are You Almost There?

Frequently we are so close to achieving what we set out to do but do not realize it.   And then frustration sets in. The next thing you know is that the idea of quitting comes to mind. This is true for career advancement or entrepreneurship.

A better thought to keep in mind is “I’ll try just one more thing”.

Of course, many times that just one more thing leads to one more, and one more, and… But that’s what keeps the motivation and adrenaline moving. In this regard, you are far more likely to find the missing ingredient or next best thing to help you achieve what you set out to do.


When you finding yourself questioning whether to quit or continue, give these ideas a try:

Recall Themes

Most likely you receive email by the hundreds. Recall if there is a common theme about new methodologies to achieve what you have in mind. Sometimes the traditional route is difficult whereas new thinking makes the journey a bit easier.


Take time to research the methodologies that are mentioned frequently. This could lead you to the “one more thing” to try.


Confidentially speak with the one person you admire. Reveal where you feel stuck or need added insight. By sharing ideas with one another, you will both come out ahead.


The new ideas plust brainstorming on how to incorporate them into your business model will lead to larger interested audiences. In turn, this leads to increased motivation.

Reset Goals

It’s possible the “one more thing to try” will be dynamic enough that you need to reset your milestones as well as create a larger vision to be achieved.


Now that you have new ideas in place and revised goals, consider how to inform audiences of your new service. Prioritize the platforms you may potentially use in terms of ease of use, appropriate audiences to be found, and monetary commitment.


Determine which avenues are working the best. Focus on these and do your best to leverage them. The leveraging will once again increase exposure, audience awareness and ultimately sales.


The more you are seen in action with consistency in all you do, you will be simultaneously building a recognized brand. As this occurs, more requests will be directed your way regarding the services you provide.


By putting a similar program in action as described above, recognition and audience size increase. All of this combined will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
