Attract the Right Job Or Clientele:

Are You Ready to Improve Communications to Reach A Robust Audience

For business purposes, it will surprise many that communications take on many forms – internally. Bluntly speaking, successful business begins within each of us and in our unique style. What lies within each individual predicts their results. The concept is paramount for serving others well to achieve our goals and receive offers beyond our imagination.

The note of caution to get to this point, it’s essential to realize the effect our communications have on others. We either turn our clientele off, or we can intrigue them enough to advance the conversation(s) and conclude with our desired sale. The question becomes, ‘Are you ready to improve communications to reach a robust audience?’

My Story

Experience teaches that combining multiple personal and professional disciplines becomes our ‘wheel of fortune opportunity,’ enabling us to extend our reach and influence. We must accept who we are as individuals regardless of what others say. The only qualifier is to improve where we uniquely see improvement to be.

Initial Steps to Improve Communications Include:

  • Realize and accept our uniqueness regardless of what others say.
  • Create a positive mindset that crosses over into enthusiasm for learning by including all perspectives to uncover a better approach.
  • Energetically with a smile, encourage input from those you encounter.
  • Maintain enthusiasm for life and business despite drawbacks.
  • Contribute to what can be a universal language of respect for all.

A respectful tone of voice, no matter the topic, the willingness to listen to varying perspectives, and embracing an inclusive environment can open the door for us all. On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have three choices when we encounter those who do otherwise:

  1. Get angry
  2. Inquire about their experience to potentially move to a better understanding on both sides and potentially find an agreement
  3. If there is no hope of resolving an issue, excuse yourself politely.

Follow-up exists in many forms; the starting point is with each of us individually. The better strategy is to review and compare the outcomes of both good and bad experiences. Comparing both types indicates where we may need to change practices and strategies. When a result concerns us, either personally or professionally, the time is right to reconsider the words we select and the attitude we bring to the table.

Many of us know the feeling of experiencing dismissive behaviors by others before we have a chance to express our ideas. One element can change the landscape by contributing to a universal language – one of respect. The all-time best influence and sales strategy is to listen carefully to what we hear in the open and what the conversation omits. And then, we can respectfully follow up with questions to fully understand the other. Only then can we accurately realize whether to continue forward.

Respectful listening with questions to follow for concise understanding is the secret to success in any endeavor. Prospective clients often reciprocate when they witness us going to lengths to understand their perspectives. The reason is that when they see us doing our best to speak what can be the universal language of respect, our prospects become curious about us and how we may assist their efforts. And that is where a collaborative partnership or a business agreement enters the discussion.

Your Story: Ready to Improve Communications

For most people, our more stressful times can easily interfere with taking the time for proper communication and actions. Instead of stopping in place to listen and hear out another, the typical stance is an abrupt end to a conversation.

The possibilities quickly dwindle when abruptness occurs among peers, in the office, with prospective clientele, or with someone you know personally. It’s essential to realize whoever you know will know others who know of others. The concept highlights the significance of being ready to improve communications. Otherwise, the estimation for potential loss of business can be staggering. If you have a concern, take time to answer the following five questions.

Do You:

  • Own who you are to remain authentic.
  • Use your authenticity for consistency in building your brand.
  • Encourage those different from you to share their experiences to learn more.
  • Think positively even in troublesome times to realize how to magnify the good.
  • Inspire others to move forward together for a better tomorrow, personally and professionally.

If you doubt the claim, give it a try, as you will have little to lose and much to gain. Creating a professional atmosphere and speaking the universal language of respect while showing care is the all-time best sales approach and strategy for growing business and client loyalty.
