Attract The Right Job or Clientele:
Are You Ready To Move Past?
In our everyday life and during business hours, we often ask ourselves, ‘Are you ready to move past?’ Sometimes the answer is immediate, ‘Yes!’ while other times, there is hesitancy due to the question of ‘how?’ Next, the second-guessing picks up full steam with new questions such as:
- Will the effort be worthwhile?
- Is it too big a gamble to potentially lose what is already in place?
- Who am I to be able to move forward?
- If I begin today and new errors arise, when can I expect a positive transition?
- What will the gain(s) be if I push the circumstances aside to move past them?
No matter what we decide to do, the answer resides in the motivation to find a better solution and implement a strategy that will prepare us for moving forward. Over time, being ready to move past feels like a habit without a second thought. But at the beginning phase, strategy is essential for achieving our desired outcome.
My Story
The common theme throughout my life is that there is strength in numbers, although I often carefully and seemingly, tread a tightrope alone. It is accurate on multiple levels; however, sometimes, we can disagree with the power, direction, and results. At times like these, it’s better to decide if we are ready to move past. My theme became ‘breaking barriers’ for what I believed to be the high road and the achievements I wanted to experience.
The barriers make me stronger as I prepare to take on the challenges. Our worst experiences often become our gifts in disguise, but only when we are willing to learn from what just happened. And then, it is time to take a break to contemplate everything leading up to the troublesome situation and how to avoid the same in the future. But even better is to do better and create a strategic plan to move past.
Being in business also teaches that there is strength in numbers that can more efficiently help everyone with the ambition to move past the current atmosphere. Moreover, the practice of developing an authentic brand, power branding and marketing, and increasing visibility for business growth all apply to our everyday lives. It’s about connecting the dots with those with similar visions, asking them to join our networks, and potentially joining theirs. Together we can achieve so much more, albeit business or societal.
In Conclusion: When barriers stop me in my tracks, today, I smile, knowing that a solution is around the corner. As time moves forward, I realize the motivation and fortitude to continue are getting me closer to my long-term vision. Even better, the outcome ahead will improve from where I am now.
Your Story: Are You Ready to Move Past?
Goal setting and tracking are the essential elements for moving further than we believe possible and in a shorter period. The future is difficult to predict, so a completion date will be difficult to set with accuracy for the long term. Instead, it may be time to consider your collection of experiences and those that will come together and may contribute to your legacy.
Whatever the issue, give thought to the most desirable outcome. Instead of an end goal, begin thinking about how you want others to remember you and the change you would like to see in the world for which you are an originator or contributor. From this point forward, make a daily effort to do something that will contribute to the change you desire.
Underlying the goal setting and tracking is an equally important strategy of testing one at a time. Otherwise, two or more new trials at a time will not accurately reveal which works best and those that may need further revision. Although the process sounds as if it will take far longer, it won’t because you know precisely where you are and how to move forward better.
Be aware of your surroundings and changes taking place that may impact your goals. Accept introductions, invitations to join organizations and new ideas for consideration. The only caution is not to over-commit your time and verify the offers align with your vision. Reciprocate by inquiring how you may be of service and make appropriate introductions. Over time, you and your collaborative partners will build out an admired brand and attract more business and opportunities. It becomes more likely that you are on track to that you are ready to move past and create the legacy you desire.
One extra element to move past and create a legacy is to contribute to a community of your choice in your style. The appreciation you receive is memorable and provides more motivation to continue forward. Aiding others is an excellent example of a significant contribution that helps you and a community succeed.
