The reason will make you successful

“…But I took the path less travelled…” – Robert Frost

Have you ever wondered what made you decide to go against protocol to try something new?

When we make that certain jagged left turn, we sometimes question our motives and how things might turn out.  Sometimes doubt clouds our minds.  But we pursue. It could take weeks, months or even years to see the end result of that one digression.  This holds true for both business and career.

Usually the one deviation leads to many.  At times it may seem that the many diversions are unrelated yet necessary.  But ultimately, when everything comes together, the lightbulb comes on for us to say, “Ah-ha – that was the reason I began in the first place!”

Looking back, what did you do differently from everyone else?  Do you recall your reasoning?  What were your results in the end, and will you repeat doing the same again?

A few years ago, before it was popular, I delved into the study of social media.  The endeavor taught me so much on so many levels.  It was one of the best things I could have done at that time although I heard dire predictions from others.  Today, being well-connected has brought wonderful opportunities and collaborations for further developing business.

I’m a firm believer in listening to your intuition and moving forward on them.  Develop your business or job interviews on a higher playing field with no regrets to look toward the Smooth Sale!
