Ideas for Cross-Promotion and Improved Results
Upon statrting my business I learned I needed to stop being shy about promoting my activities. It was a difficult step to take but I learned how to do it without bragging. Yet some still were not convinced I would find success. They didn’t believe I could get known without hard core tactics.
Social media aleviated the difficulty of promotion for many reserved people. By posting your information and encouraging dialogue, you begin to attract those interested in what you have to offer. Over time, as you get to know one another well, you might ask if they would like to find ways in which you can help one another. These collaborative techniques also work well for seeking work and getting HIRED!
Finding a fit may be as simple as partnering on a project, promoting one another’s events or contributing a blog to one another’s site. Crafting tweets and email with customized links makes it easy for another to agree to work with you. You will reach people that would otherwise not be accessible thereby making your business and you better known. You will be headed toward a very Smooth Sale!
The events spiral your business upward and more offers for joint ventures come to light. For example, some of the people with whom you connect may have the perfect connection for you. Next week, on March 8th, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day.
The event in San Francisco will take place at the Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel. I hope you will be able to join me there. Due to becoming known through my connections, I will be receiving the “Global Leadership Award”!
