The Preparation Sells Your Talent

As I was preparing for weekend company from out of town, I recognized it’s the preparation upfront for which appreciation will be showered upon you.  This is true preparing for upcoming interviews as well as creating presentations for prospects and steady clients.

The effort you put in upfront will serve to build trust and likeability – both of which are requirements for hearing HIRED! or SOLD!  Proposals and presentations need to have the details double checked.  Is everything in the right order, is it clear for people not in your realm so that the majority of people in the meeting will understand?

Do you know how the industry and competing companies are doing compared to the company with which you are about to interview?  Are you up on their latest projects and have read their annual report as it applies?

Just as I prepared for company looking into every detail to ensure their comfort and a fun weekend, do the same for your business.  The time upfront is your investment for the revenue forthcoming.  And the nice part – you will be the lead candidate or the chosen service provider making for a very Smooth Sale!

In addition to planning for the long term in business, I always pay attention to the details. My new project is a perfect example of a fabulous business evening in store!  You will see an example of details by visiting this page:  April 27 – An Evening of Inspiration – Be Inspired to Get HIRED!  Click the link for details and Registration, and call with questions: 800-704-1499.
