Do you have real challenges that inhibit business?
We all have challenges particularly when we begin our businesses and realize just how much we do not know. It is a daunting task to come up to speed and implement everything required as well as suggested.
Many quit by saying, It’s too difficult or It isn’t possible to succeed. They aren’t willing to put in the time to learn how to build their business. Entrepreneurs at heart are willing to take calculated risks and try everything it takes to get up and running to eventually become succcessful.
Today I met a woman whose challenges put these to shame. She has not one but two debilitating diseases. Most people in her condition live on government assistance but Cheryl refused. Her mother treated her as an invalid. So at age 18, she left home to seek her fortune.
Over the years, Cheryl became adept at sales by making friends with her prospects and building relationships. She eventually married and made a very nice life for herself. Three years ago she began a new business and is on the road to doing quite well creating beautiful and original gift baskets. She is truly a remarkable woman who refused to give in. Her story is inspirational and I encouraged her to write her book.
