Attract the Right Job or Clientele:  Delete Time Wasters to Focus On 2017

We are quickly closing in on the year-end. As we each reflect on the past year, no doubt lessons learned will be at the top of our memories. The lessons provide hope for us to see a far better outcome ahead.

As the new year approaches, resolutions become commonplace to do better. But it’s common knowledge that for most these are just momentary in time. It’s easier to lapse into ‘the usual.’ Those serious about advancing their career or business development know that won’t work, and take serious measures to ensure they follow through as they say they will.

My Story

Time is the most precious commodity, and so it needs to be wisely used. There were numerous times where I wasted hours on less significant matters instead of focusing on what will help my community best.

 The Basics

The best sales strategy was learned early in my sales career, and that is to keep a running task list for the high priority items to be accomplished each day. The moment I got back on track to do this, more got done and in a shorter period.

Even mere baby steps taken will increase energy. Once the adrenaline kicks in, so does motivation to do more. The baby steps soon turn into strides along with quicker accomplishment. The infamous roller coaster rides calm down to become enjoyable.

Your Story

You are solely responsible for your outcome every year. Although issues may arise on a job or with business partners, you are still in charge of choices for how to proceed.

Do you wish to:

  • Make simple changes
  • Quit where you are today to find something new
  • Modify current processes to increase happiness and motivation.

May You Have a Joyous New Year!
Create Your Process
  1. Figure out where you may have been wasting time on decisions and with projects.
  2. List what you hold most important and create systems to remain on target to achieve them.
  3. Beside each project note what you need in place to make each item a reality.
  4. Place a targeted date of completion next to each.
  5. Create a plan of implementation for each project to be completed by the date set.

As you consider all of the planning you have done for the New Year, are you feeling excited and motivated to see it in action? Excitement and motivation are the pieces needed to fulfill your commitment to New Year Resolutions.

My wish for you is to have your best year yet in 2017
Sales Tips:
  1. Decide your ultimate goal for 2017.
  2. Declare commitment only to what you know you will do.

  4. Include a timeline for each project.
  5. List the help needed to see each item through to completion.
  6. Decide upon the best type of help to get.
  7. Set target dates to begin each endeavor.
  8. Track monthly progress for each item.
  9. Make adjustments to the plan as you move forward.
  10. Celebrate success!
