Attract the Right Job Or Clientele:

Do You Combine Disciplines for Improving Results?

Becoming aware of the better strategies to use in our work becomes the right time to consider combining disciplines to improve results. The reason for combining the varying business disciplines is that our effort becomes far more robust and attracts a more substantial audience.

My Story

Undoubtedly, to be successful, most work disciplines take a few years of dedication to learning for us to become comfortable doing it. Although I could sell just by being myself without formal training, I needed to understand what I was doing differently from everyone else to be comfortable with my authentic style.

Many conversations with former prospects included asking them questions to understand how and why they wanted to work with me. I also asked clientele these questions to realize what to continue doing and what to discontinue. It was my growing clientele that taught me better methods for selling.

As an entrepreneur, it became clear that sales knowledge is not enough to succeed. Since graduating college, marketing experts have advised me to share my experiences freely. The story-sharing accomplishes much:

  1. People will either scoff or appreciate our input when we share our lessons learned. Accordingly, the story-sharing helps to refine our networks plus prospective clientele.
  2. The underlying theme for branding is the repetitive reminders to be our authentic selves for others to know, like, and trust us (the sales mantra). Branding is essential to project who you are and establish more robust audiences.
  3. Our willingness to freely share our stories regarding failures and success leads to invitations to showcase who we are and our work via varying media. Magazine articles, podcasts, and TV interviews contribute to spreading the good word of mouth about us and our business.

The Benefits of Combining Disciplines

Should one stick to strictly sales, it’s a grueling task getting started to contact 100 prospects per day to find one or two that ‘may’ have an interest. With experience at hand, the hours are still long as we continue attempting to sell.

Teamwork with everyone involved and across the board is essential for the business’s broader reach and income flow. For companies, it works to everyone’s advantage when other departments understand the goals of the others and how they typically achieve them. Once the understanding is in place, new ideas for working effectively together can improve business growth.

Smaller companies and entrepreneurs can mirror similar activities with a collaborative effort. Combining efforts extends the individual and group reach significantly. More offers come about that otherwise would not be available. Sharing one’s worst with lessons learned and one’s best is essential for success to follow.

One sales lesson is essential for everyone working in a business to realize: Today’s answer of ‘no’ can turn into a ‘Yes’ when we commit to being professional as we check in on occasion to learn of the company updates. Accordingly, new ideas, including appropriate introductions, may come to mind. Sometimes we need to offer help upfront to others and later be the recipients of support for our business.

Your Story: Combine Disciplines for Improving Results

The first discipline we all need to learn is self-commitment to be the person we desire to become. People admit that being in charge of a business is more challenging as the negativity around them appears non-stop. Accordingly, we need to advance in seeking out those willing to exchange ideas and help all parties succeed. Heed the statement; you do not need permission to find success.

Helping people move their ambition forward can include making appropriate introductions. The sales technique that works well as you connect people and companies is to reveal why you believe it will be beneficial. The question of ‘why’ is at the forefront of most new introductions, ideas, and approaches. Connecting the dots for everyone involved enables a smoother process.

Consider the areas of expertise you wish you knew to help make your journey easier. Next, research the classes or individuals who can help with your knowledge and growth. As time progresses, consult with peers about new apps, strategies, and disciplines they are implementing to help move them forward. You may want to embrace similar techniques.

Last, as you become successful in your endeavors, reach out to help others improve their strategies. When we collaboratively help one another, we all benefit as we gather new knowledge.

In Conclusion:

Diversity and inclusion apply well to combining disciplines for improving results. When we combine disciplines to improve outcomes, our underlying goal of business growth is evident. Clients, prospects, and audiences globally will notice our activities. Next, some may reach out to connect, and upon having a conversation, a surprise offer may come next.
