Attract the Right Job or Clientele

We often read that our income is directly related to the company we keep. I can’t confirm that one way or another. But I can tell you that it’s wise to have conversations and network with those who motivate and inspire you. If you have ever been in the company of others trying to convince you to quit, you know what I’m saying!

My Story

The number of negative stories featuring those who belittled my work far outweighs the stories of good cheer. But I learned to view the better stories as gifts of encouragement. Given they are less plentiful, they are similar to a pile of gold. The treasure comes from acting upon words of advice, encouragement, and our ideas to make something special happen.

One group to which I belong was slow but steady in coming together. We began with phone introductions to one another. Becoming comfortable with each other, we agreed to share our content. The group grew both in size and with ideas. The transformation began to take place for most. We have entered an exciting stage where members are interviewing one another through a variety of platforms, and most of us are on multiple lists as top sales experts.

It became my turn to pay attention to what I already created and pushed myself to help my audience further. My peers motivated me to move forward with the soon-to-be-launched Smooth Sale Community. I’m excited about the new adventure!

Your Story

The art of being nimble to move from the negative to the positive minded people will help tremendously. Where is your meter rating on a scale of 1-10 today? Let’s assume you rate yourself at a One; it’s not an issue. Acknowledging the problem is where the importance lies so that you may fix it.

Sometimes you just need to let the world around you fade away as you journey into the unknown to find the better group of peers. When you do join a new group, be generous with: •

  • Making introductions
  • Sharing information
  • Contributing ideas to enhance each person’s success

The majority of those who join peer-based groups recognize they don’t know everything but recognize they have great combined wisdom at their disposal. The free exchange of information serves everyone well and becomes highly motivating to do your best and possibly more than you initially thought you could.

It’s an upcoming New Year and the right time to chart a new course of action. Begin with the one idea that puts a smile on your face. The idea is to be laughing at the end of 2017 when looking back to recognize it wasn’t that difficult, after all!

Sales Tips:
  1. Think about your favorite “what if” idea.
  2. Create a plan of action centered on that idea.
  3. Contact your positive-minded friends for their input.
  4. Ask your peers if they would suggest a collaborative group.
  5. Become comfortable asking questions and providing ideas.
  6. Encourage others to take action.
  7. Motivate yourself to make new strides.
  8. Monitor and compare the pace of accomplishment between the old and new approach.
  9. Keep your eye on the biggest goal imaginable to move forward quickly.
  10. Celebrate success!
