Our private time is the best time to seriously consider what we enjoy and what we dislike most, to then acknowledge and answer the question, ‘Why?’ Only when we recognize our unique truth can we realize the changes necessary to enjoy our journey better. Upon allowing the mind to flow, an initial attempt may only produce one answer. However, putting the practice into a daily routine will make it feel almost like a game, with many answers and possibilities coming to mind.
Becoming ‘the Rebel’ sometimes translates to taking a calculated risk by testing what others believe to be a seemingly ‘ridiculous idea’. However, taking the surprise step of testing it yourself will bring ridicule upfront. However, patience is vital, and by giving new ideas time to work themselves out, slowly but surely, positive attention begins to build, ultimately converting into admiration and attention from many, including the media.
Leave the Old to Find the New
Finding ‘the new’ refers to whatever and whoever holds importance for each of us, e.g., a job, peers, technology, ideas, etc. Looking back, I was chided for embracing the internet and all it had to offer both personally and business-wise. Over time, the effort behind the scenes to build better connections proved well worth it. Ultimately, the online connections became far more meaningful for building appropriate networks and, in turn, the business.
The Slow and Mindful Pace
Today’s better example is that of implementing AI wherever and however possible. The only drawback is the potential harm, such as cybersecurity attacks, that the new technology may create. Investments are at stake, and, if attentive care is not part of the implementation, lawsuits are the other type of threat. We can only imagine the benefits of robotics and AI today, as we are in the early stages, and it is evident that a slow-and-steady approach is necessary to avoid calamities.
Teams Come In Varying Shapes, Forms, and Sizes
Even solo entrepreneurs working from home must stay up to date on the latest news and technology updates to get a fuller picture of where society may be headed. Connecting online with those demonstrating similar values and priorities is an excellent way to begin.
Slowly but surely, our connections will expand as new opportunities arise, boosting visibility. The irony is that we begin to stand out because we are unique and unlike everyone else. This is the tipping point at which we move from ridicule to admiration, unexpectedly earning offers of opportunities we never before saw coming, proving that unique thought is the differentiator for business growth.

Remaining steady and doing everything possible to ‘fit in’ with a current group accomplishes little. Finally, accepting and embracing who we are and what we stand for paves the way for us to be seen, heard, and appreciated.
