The same ideas should be applied to employees. Instead of battling the “Revolving Door Syndrome”, you will retain a loyal staff. Rewarding teams works best versus making the atmosphere highly competitive by rewarding individuals.
When you take care of clients and employees they reciprocate in kind making business highly rewarding.
My Story
In the corporate sales world, I personally thanked clients via treating them to lunch at a nice restaurant. When an employer held a trade show, I made certain to invite my clients. And those clients who attended the shows were personally introduced to the executive management. Clients were appreciative and repeatedly purchased from me.
Entrepreneurs have a greater variety of ways in which to showcase their clients. In fact, it should be incorporated into the business model. This is a strategic move that helps many communities, and puts the person who does so in the position of leader. Showcasing clients becomes a win for all.

Consider how you currently treat your steady clientele. Do you show appreciation for continued business? Are you occasionally checking in to see how your client is doing with what was sold? This type of attention also increases loyalty. Create a list of those clients to contact. Make it a habit to do this daily.

- Offer to highlight those clients who provide helpful services in your column.
