Create Your Team
Teamwork will always carry you further than working alone. Seeking work requires networking among many to find connections to the desired employer. Once on the job, highs and lows will be experienced. To keep an improved balance, it’s great to have a network of those you can trust around you to lend perspective. And being an entrepreneur entails many up and down days, and particularly in the down moments, a team helps you to regain your strength.
On occasion you will want to quietly reach out to only one of your team members to discuss your next best move or how to resolve a sticky situation. Solid advice will be yours for the asking. At other times, the entire team will be desired for increased energy, empowered thought and the quickest resolution to what’s troubling you.
Leading the team also becomes your marketing message that you are willing to put yourself out for others. As you become comfortable doing this, your clientele will pick up on your leadership stance, too, and will be more inclined to purchase from you. Sharing some of these scenarios on interviews will impress the hiring manager thereby increasing the likelihood of hearing Hired!
The point is to not just depend on how you perceive a situation that troubles you, but to get input from others. Given everyone has different perspectives, the insight to be gained is tremendous. And when you work on a resolution or game path together, the synergy between all members picks up too. Your relationships become stronger as you know you may count on one another now and into the future.
Teamwork will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
