Business Development for the Long Term

While many have long term visions and project goals, they get distracted from the big picture by continually focusing on the tiniest of details.  It is very true details need to be attended to but they should not occupy the entire day, or the big picture will never be attained.

Set aside a specific amount of time for working on your long term vision, daily.  This is the process that will give you a better chance of seeing it come alive.  Develop a plan for the major projects, minor projects, possible team required, occasional help required, and detailed steps for achieving your distant goal.  Working backwards will get you to the starting point as well as providing almost a roadmap for what needs to be done next.

The only difficulty most people have is sticking with their plan.  Interruptions include plitical-economic changes affecting society, technological development, or a required learning curve.  

Commitment and perseverance are the name of the game and should be embedded in your mindset of positive thought.  Your current and intended clientele will be amazed by your progress and further encouraged to do additional business with you.  The same is true of job seekers wishing to attract an increased number of better interviews.

Working in this manner will bring success sooner will develop a strong personal and business brand.  Your audience will be attracted to you thus inviting the Smooth Sale!
