One of the biggest benefits of working in sales is that the income of a good salesperson is limited only by their ambition and skill. If you’re a go-getter, a self-starter, you are naturally suited for success once your perfect your sales techniques. If you’re better at taking direction, a more stable job may be for you.

Accountability and Responsibility

With a career in sales comes a the necessity to perform. Sales jobs are high-pressure jobs. They come with the expectation of performance and an environment of competition. This competition is often public and designed to advertise who is doing well and who is not to the entire team.


The income of a good salesperson is limited only by their ambition and talent.

Sales can be lucrative, rewarding and exciting. If you’re not naturally inclined for the the work – or if your sales technique is not what it should be – it can also be stressful, difficult and all consuming. The business requires some sales and marketing training, but those with drive, ambition and smarts quickly make their name in the business.
