Redesign An Idea to Reflect Your Authentic Identity
Should you carefully watch how the entertainment industry operates, you will recognize it’s smart to go to great lengths to build your authentic identity. There are great lessons to be learned. If you are serious about time efficiency and cost effectiveness for an improved ROI, you will want to seriously consider the following.
Observation is the best teacher.
There are always a few television shows each season that prove to be hugely popular. The general idea of one popular show is copied to create new ones in the hope that they too will become equally popular. One example is of two shows built on a similar theme, that of music. However, the locations, cast, type of music, and the situations revealed are entirely different.
The two shows referred to are Empire and Nashville. They both feature music intertwined with attention grabbing drama. They both proved to be very popular. And now a third show also based upon the music industry was just released entitled, “Vinyl”. Whereas Empire and Nashville are present day music, Vinyl is a retrospective of the music industry back in the 1970’s.
My Story
It’s no secret that entrepreneurs also adhere to the philosophy of “create one and produce many”. A very simple example is that of my own practice. Tweets containing a special theme are expanded into posts. More importantly, the tweets and other social media postings are to reflect your authentic identity.

- Why did the subject matter catch your attention?
- Is the idea complementary to what is already in place or is it entirely new?
- What needs to be in place to make it successful?
- Is there a learning curve involved for a successful launch?
- Does the effort hold merit for increasing clientele or improving the bottom line?
- As an employee will the idea motivate teams or help expand the business outreach?
The flexibility of adding and subtracting information is a huge time saver. We all know that time translates into money. Freeing up time allows us to focus on activities that will actually produce income.
