Up until two years ago, I was in an area that was 100% business focused and with individuals who were only tuned into hard core facts. The idea of alternative healing methodologies was “non-sense”. Speaking for myself, I knew the alternative methods were working for some, so I was not ready to dismiss the ideas.
Moving north of San Francisco, we found ourselves in the middle of the alternative healthcare world. I took the mindset of viewing this as an opportunity to learn what some of the terminology and practices meant.
My favorite experience was that of a Reiki class. It came at the most opportune time. While there, I met the founder of Whispering Energy, an online marketing and social media company that attracts many types of healthcare practitioners in addition to the mainstream.
Continuing to teach relationship building and selling for a lifetime clientele, I journeyed into trading services with some of the W.E. members to learn more about each practice and what they offer their clientele.
Exchanging services brought a double benefit. I learned about each member’s business and needs which enabled me to help them better from a sales training standpoint. Meanwhile, I became familiar with terms such as Aura Colors, Zpoint, Theta Healing and MWave – previously all foreign concepts.
When you get to know your prospects and clients from their viewpoints, you stand a much better chance for easy business development, and building stronger relationships. in turn your are fat more likely to build returning and referring clientele. Communicating so that your clientele wants to educates you, will attract the right type of attention. They begin to market your services for you to their friends and associates.
For example, an acquaintance notified me he just posted my new book, “HIRED! How to Sell Yourself On Interviews” on Linked-in when he noticed a disabled fellow posted he needed help with interviewing. When you grasp the magic of attracting clients, you automatically enjoy the Smooth Sale!
