Making Room for Doing What You Enjoy!
Jim shared with me that he was advised to forego his writing given he is about to undertake a complex job. The job will not only provide Jim with an outstanding income that he badly needs but will also provide an excellent career path. He may one day become the executive of a large corporation.
On the other hand, Jim lamented that writing is not just a hobby. He confessed he becomes lost in his own world of creativity with unfolding mysterious characters including twists and turns of plot. He savors the quiet time and moments of writing.
Whether you are employed or an entrepreneur, giving 100% plus is a requirement to eventually see success. However, it is essential that you maintain our identity or personal brand. Whatever sings to your heart should be embraced as frequently as possible, and daily if you are able to incorporate into your schedule.

I advised Jim to be of the mindset to write an hour before going to sleep as it will soothe his soul and warm his heart for a more restful sleep. And should that not be a good time, then he should set his alarm an hour earlier than he would normally rise. Having his writing to look forward to will motivate him out of bed onto writing. The accomplishment will then energize and motivate him to be more strategic in his day of work.
