Capture Your All-time Best Day
As opposed to yesterday’s blog per bottom-lining your worst day, another great strategy is to capture your all-time best day. This holds true for any endeavor in life, but is particularly important for business and job seekers.
Which moment in time was the most positive and significant in your life? Consider how it made you feel, what you learned from the experience, and which aspect you might like to see happen once again. And, are you able to use the experience as a springboard for more wonderful events to come your way?
For example, “Pricscilla” was bored at work, but at that very moment, a unique idea hit her hard. Instead of letting it go, her thought was, the worst that can happen is to receive no response. So she emailed her idea to the White House! A couple of weeks later she was having a meeting in the White house. While there a new thought entered her head. She volunteered the idea of a special event to the staffer. Now the event is being planned in coordination with the White House!
The point is, finding and capitalizing on your unique high points will catapult you even higher. The question becomes, how high are you willing to try to go? Possibilities are limitless when you are of the mindset to try and pursue. The underlying marketing messaging about you and your personal brand draws tremendous attention.
Making this practice a habit does wonders for business development and will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
