· How did you respond?
· What could have been done differently and should be done in the future?
· What will outcome from this new approach produce?
By avoiding the errors of others, you are on a more solid footing to secure sales. But take a look at your recent history. Were there difficult obstacles that you weren’t able to turn around? Or, are you currently experiencing increased sales success? In either case, take time to reflect on the how and the why to improve future business growth efforts.
The next step is to ask trusted peers what types of situations they have encountered of late. Exchange stories along with ideas for improvement. This just might be the perfect beginning for developing a business support group.
The focus of your new support group should be on exchanging ideas for improved branding, business development and sales. Each week, make it a practice for each member to report the worst and the best of what was observed the week before.
