Attract the Right Job or Clientele:

Do you consider opposite perspectives before making a decision?

Is your approach to business or career all-encompassing, will you consider opposite perspectives before making a decision? Most people have a tendency to stick to themselves and be discrete about what they share. They also take the straight and narrow path because they are afraid to explore and extend what they know. But by changing the cautious mindset to becoming more open, you will find others offering their best insight. Your chances for success increase when you consider opposite perspectives before making a decision.

Accept Feedback

In the past, I’ve suggested that negative feedback be welcomed. While it may make us feel as if we are being stabbed in the back on occasion, the worse the feeling will usually imply there is an element of truth behind it. Willingness to face the worst will sometimes produce incredible results. I’ve experienced it and encourage you give consideration to this idea.

Turn the Bad into Good: Consider opposite perspectives before making a decision

On occasion we find ourselves turned down on a project. The reasoning seems unreasonable and we pout. We wonder if continuing is worth the effort. But once we get a grip on new possibilities ahead, many times it turns out that the rejection was in fact a good turn of events. Become comfortable with varying feedback before making a decision.

Before Making A Decision Know that Opposites Attract

Another type of differing perspective exists between creative and technical people. This is an excellent one to explore prior to launching something new. Whichever side of the brain you are more inclined to use, chances are not everything has been completely thought through on the other end.

Present your final thought to someone you trust and who has the needed expertise to critically look at your project. The expectation and hope is they offer good insight before you take your new offering to market.

Weight Training

Another great strategy for improving your skills is to focus on your weakest ones. Designate time for classes or self-education to strengthen those so that everything you have to offer is of a strong and credible nature. In the event, you decide to hire someone down the road, you will be in a better position to instruct them on exactly how you wish the job to be performed.
