Is it time to brush up on time management skills?
It always surprises me how some people will say they will do xyz in the morning but by evening haven’t accomplished it. Are they forgetful, do they not really want to do it, or are they simply disorganized?
A good way around all this is to prioritize what must get done the night before. Begin with large projects if you have one. Commit to a time allotment to work on your big project such as two hours not a minute more. Put that at the top of your list.
Next, consider all else that needs to get done during the day including making appointments and doing errands. Prioritize and list everything. You will be amazed the next day when you have that list in front of your eyes, how quickly you will plow through it in its entirety. It feels great too, to be able to delete one by one as you complete each task. This activity actually becomes a motivator to do more.
Obviously as you do more, more people will find you, meet you, and ask to do business with you. This is when the tasks turn into a Smooth Sale!
