Build Relationship with Your Clients
Yesterday we spoke of building relationships with those you meet networking. The next step is to build relationships with your clientele.
“Clientele” usually refers to those to whom you sell. However, in reality we “sell” to everyone around us; those doing work for us and even those from whom we buy. Everyone we encounter should be met with respect and consideration. Doing such will build our personal brand better and encourage referrals and testimonials from many.
As an employee, your clientele is your management and those with whom you work. Should you desire a promotion or referral for a new job, take care of those around you.
No matter which position you hold or endeavor you undertake, you are a salesperson representing You. The idea is to encourage referrals of opportunities and collaboration to expand what you already have in place. Doing so will put you on the wave of the Smooth Sale!
