Your Response is Responsible for….

Did you realize your response and timing of it are responsible for your marketing message regarding customer service, dependability and personal brand all at the same time?

This question comes about because yesterday, I received a response from a customer service representative via email to a question I didn’t even remember asking.  So I scrolled down to see my original communication.  Would you believe i sent my original question seven months ago?!

Think about it – if you were a job seeker, do you believe someone would hire you if you took seven months to reply to the job application?  Should this have been a client of yours, do you believe the company would continue to be a client given the lack of attention?  And most likely you would never do business with an establishment that seemingly could care less.

Customer service is at the core of business, or at least it should be.  Some giant companies today don’t seem to believe it’s necessary.  For them it may be true, but for entrepreneurs establishing themselves, be of the mindset to build your policies well, and so will follow your personal brand, marketing effort and your business.  

Sound customer service will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
