Reconnecting Brings New Opportunity
This past week has proven to be remarkable. BranchOut came to my attention as the professional arm of Facebook. Recognizing a couple of friends from the past, I clicked on their photos to reconnect. The next thing I knew many friends and associates from my past were reaching out to do the same. We have known each other for a number of years, built our relationships, watched each other’s progress and so we confidently began endorsing one another.
Our excitement of re-discovering one another graduated to phone calls. It has been a hectic week catching up with everyone and finding new ways to cooperate in business. The entrepreneurial spirit was alive with much adrenaline. In fact, when it was my turn to give an update, in addition to the news of my books, Nice Girls DO Get the Sale becoming an international best seller, and HIRED! appearing to follow a similar path, I told them about my next adventure.
I shared that the past two years I studied social media. With the introduction to the video capabilities of TalkFusion, I recognized that when you couple it with social media, the results will potentially be enormous. Entrepreneurship means a commitment to education so I’m now studying all the ways to incorporate video in all I do. The exciting part is this company is young, well funded with vision and a great plan in place. In case I piqued your interest, just let me know.
In the meantime, my community service of helping people to interview best through college classes and offering webinars is and always will be a part of my plan.
Business development takes off far more easily when you have long time friends along for the ride with you. And when you discover a new venture in which they may take part – you become the leader who they turn to. You absolutely will attract the right job, prospects and/or clients.
It all becomes a very Smooth Sale!
