Do you “uplift” others to build relationships or attract more sales?

This past year, I have concentrated on a full out effort to help promote others and in the process have received much reward myself. Today, I took this a step further to help our neighborhood!

We are enjoying getting to know a soon-to-be new neighbor who happens to be a contractor. He bought the “eyesore” across the street and demolished it. The neighbors told him the house looked better already! George has made great progress in the short time since and his new home is looking very nice. My husband and I suggested to George we treat he and his crew to a pizza lunch in our backyard to show appreciation for his beautifying the neighborhood.

Pizza was enjoyed by all and we got to know the crew along with George and his wife. While talking it was suggested he put up a well-designed marketing sign about the services he is able to offer his prospects and clients. Communicating with the crew, we also let slip out that we have work to be done down the road. The noon hour centered around eating and friendly conversation leading to new business ideas that will expand their audience reach.

When you are of the mindset of helping others and being social in all situations, you will find this almost always leads to a very Smooth Sale!
