Coordinating Commitments to Get to the Sale

It is said, “Life Happens” and we need to appropriately deal with it…  

Sometimes scheduling on either side of the table can be a hassle.  It doesn’t matter whether you were asked to provide services, come in for an interview, or be a guest on a show; sometimes scheduling gets jumbled no matter whose fault it is. When a mishap occurs, the best procedure is to ask to reschedule conveying understanding that life sometimes gets in the way. 

There is one scenario that can and should be avoided.  

On occasion a mishap will be blamed on an assistant who left and was the one responsible for the scheduling.  While it may be true, this isn’t a great excuse for conscientious entrepreneurs.  The better approach is to perform the work yourself prior to hiring so that you understand the nuances of the job upfront.  You are now in a position to get the assistant up and running more quickly.  And should an assistant give notice of leave, you will know what is already in place and the next steps to be taken.

Auto Confirming Appointments

Upon reconfirming a set appointment, should you use an app to help you with this, be certain it is set on your time zone!  Otherwise, confusion sets in and wastes valuable time.
