New Adventures New Updates

Change seems to be the only constant in business, career and life in general.  Whenever you do embrace change there is one requirement that should not be ignored.  That requirement is to examine what you already have in place that may need an update.

So for job seekers, the updated peice may obviously be your resume to prepare for the interviewing process.  For entrepreneurs, product and service description revision may be in order.  Have you changed a website, phone number or address?  These too need to be kept up to date for people to connect with you.

Those who do have products on the market may wish to consider revised editions of books, updates on manuals and conversion of old CDs to audio books.  On occasion review your tweets, links and anything else you may post to be current with the times.  This is very closely tied in to your marketing and branding program.

Lastly, remember to have a six month meeting to revisit your long-term vision and goals with yourself and team, if you have one.  Review and discuss what works best, what needs to be discarded, and what new idea may replace the older ideas that didn’t work as well.  Then reset your six month goal to super charge your busienss.  This six month routine is a habit that should never be broken as it defines your personal brand.

Maintaining the mindset to willingly put yourself “out there” for new adventures and pay attention to the required updates, you will be headed for the Smooth Sale!
