Best Policy for Building Relationships is…
A good friend kindly wrote a testimonial on behalf of my inspirational speaking and sales training. These are treasured, saved, and used accordingly.
The problem was she is an excellent writer but the testimonial was somewhat jumbled between speaking and training, moving back and forth thereby the focus was lost. In my taking time to review and rewrite the testimonial, my immediate “Thank you” was interpreted as “go ahead and post as is”. Whoops!
Fortunately we are long term friends. I share that because although necessary, it was awkward to ask her to fix her wording. Her response came back, that I should always be honest and that we’re here to help one another. Simple fix, long-term friendship – can’t ask for more than that!
Likewise, by building the long-term relationships with networks and clientele, you will attract increased job opportunities / sales and be headed toward the Smooth Sale!
