Business Development found in Appreciation

The most powerful business development, personal brand, and sales tool in one are the simple words of “Thank You!”

After an event, do you specifically follow up to thank each person individually, who gave their time to attend in person or online?  The blanket emails don’t cut it in my opinion.  The extra step of personalizing the thank you is what shows sincerity.

Sincerity builds trust between you.  And it is the trust and belief in what you have to offer that will lead to further sales.  When you ask time of others, give your time appropriately, too.  Reciprocate in order to build a sound relationship.  And in a similar fashion, building the relationship with those who interview you for a job, will much more likely move you toward hearing Hired!

For some reason, Thank You seems to be not as prevalent as it once was.  Given this is the case, using those words will set you apart as a particularly nice person.  Seeing and hearing your sincere appreciation, your clientele will be inclined to inquire about more of your services.

When people ask permission to buy from you, that’s the Smooth Sale!
