Attract The Right Job Or Clientele:
Do You Gamify Revisions to Improve Results?
It is not fun to continually revise plans unless we change the scenario and gamify revisions to improve results. Mindset is everything; accordingly, when we move from having to face the drudge work and convert it into something fun, our motivation reinvigorates us to do more.
Should you have a team of employees, one idea is to create a contest to reward the most innovative idea with merit and the possibility of working well. Of course, it will be necessary to monitor the results before the individual or team receive acknowledgement for winning.
My Story:
Gamification is popular theme in the business world today. On the one hand, larger companies have breakrooms for employees to enter the metaverse and play games alone. Other companies have game rooms set up for ping pong and others sporting activities.
Gamify in Action: Use M&M’s, for example, to place bets on the action teammates foresee as winning.
Simultaneous Sales and Public Speaking Training: Before placing an M&M bet, each participant is to present why they believe the new idea will prove an excellent strategy for business. Have them add in their ‘why’ it will improve overall performance. Create a model upfront for employees to share the reasoning behind their thinking about a specific approach and how it will work best. Instruct them to conclude with what they expect from the outcome.
Upon moving forward with new ideas, it’s wise to use your time to strategize how the new approach will complement what is already in place. Set a six-month or year-long goal to monitor results that may include:
- A smoother process and progression for programs in place
- A more robust effort casting a wider branding net
- A focused effort to increase collective activities will give way to an increase in sales.
One possibility to gamify revisions to improve results may include tracking the statistics beginning with your starting point to what the numbers reveal each month. Salespeople are familiar with the traditional sales scoreboard featuring only one top achiever. Converting a new effort into a team event and tracking the scores may add enthusiasm to the great effort. Done well, the motivation and high energy should improve the overall scores and sales.
As a small business owner or entrepreneur, a collective effort among peers, employees, and online connections can generate greater reach and following numbers. However, an initial increase in those who choose to follow on social sites may quickly decline unless you create intriguing messaging and products plus services that will capture the attention of many.
You may want to create a unique group dedicated to helping your group of peers and teammates. Make it a global intent and invite others with similar ideals into your group. The more you can share about what you represent and how you go about your work will draw the attention of many and encourage them to participate.
Overall, the benefits to gamify revisions to improve results are many, including:
- Your audience reach grows steadily.
- New opportunities come forth complementary to your activities in the process.
- The business steadily builds, encouraging additional new ideas.
- The energetic activity increases the flow of new ideas, partners, and resources.
- The gamification re-energizes staff and encourages them to remain for the long term.
- Your bottom line increases due to lower turnover and an increase in clientele.

Your Story: Do You Gamify Revisions to Improve Results?
We all know that focus is essential to achieving what we desire. When work begins to wear you down, or you realize something is missing in the mix, an excellent fix is to exit from the office. But when something isn’t working up to par and needs fixing, it’s best that you remove yourself from all distractions. Even better is to be in a special quiet zone to allow your mind to roam and encourage creative thought.
Most often, any type of exercise, indoor or outdoor, whether on a bicycle or a hike, will allow you to focus on your new surroundings for the moment in time. Accordingly, stress typically subsides to allow for the inner thoughts on your mind to release. And then you are ready to have a serious meeting with yourself.
One excellent habit to instill is to have a daily meeting with yourself. For some, the best time is to review the day is just before sleep. Review what went well and what needs improvement tomorrow and into the future. Ask yourself ‘what if’ questions to contemplate new possibilities. Make a habit of taking notes as they arise to avoid forgetting. As new thought does come to you, consider who else may hold interest and how you may forget forward together.
Upon presenting your ideas to others, understand that some will be critical, and a select few may hold interest. Over time, you will find people with similar values and interests. These are the connections that can help you advance over time.
Remember that trial and error is at the heart of all we do. Sometimes, the awful mistakes we make will transform into something highly beneficial when we are willing to learn the lessons. When you add in principle to gamify revisions to improve results, you will learn to enjoy the journey as you move forward.
