  2. What will a typical day look like for someone in this position?
  3. Describe a typical career path once this job is well done?
  4. What is the average stay for someone in this position?
  5. On average, how long does it take for someone to get up and running?
  6. How does the training program work and are employees compensated while in training?
  7. Sales reps in particular should ask to meet others on the team. Offer to go offsite for coffee and pay in exchange for the truth about the company.

Ideas for Interviewing

  1. Take all interviews offered for the practice.
  2. Interview with competitors to gain a better insight for the industry
  3. Go in with a smile on your face, and wear your favorite outfit to look confident.
  4. Think positively, and let the hiring management know you are interested.
  5. If you do not have a good feeling, write a nice thank you note afterward.  State you while you don’t believe it’s a good match for you, you wish them well.
  6. If it’s a good match then there is negotiation to pursue regarding terms proving to be the right time to create a new career.

  1. What caught your interest to take the time to meet today?
  2. Describe how you have been operating up until today and the problems you are encountering.
  3. How do you see these issues being resolved?
  4. What is your budget
  5. Have you considered…? Why or why not?
  6. When are you anticipating implementing a change?
