Decision vs balancing act brings better results
During a conversation, I confessed that for years I was doing a balancing act between what was expected of me by others and whom I wished to be. A few years ago, I finally shed the notion this behavior of pleasing everyone around me needed to be continued. Instead I made a decision to be true to myself and move forward with what was important to me and who I wish to be. The changed raised my happiness meter 10 fold.
Last year, I tweaked one more area. My mindset was focused on interacting and building relationships with others more similarly in alignment. My happiness meter increased once again.
I’m sharing this today in light of the holidays coming and a new year around the corner. Whether you are concentrating on finding a new job or advancing your career, expanding business or trying to attract more sales, what can you do to raise your happiness score?
The fact of the matter is when you project happiness, others take note. This is part of your marketing communication message that you are confident and have become a leader in what you do. You are perceived as happy due to your success. Your hiring manager, prospects and clients become more readily attracted to what you have to offer.
In sales terms, this process of becoming the true you is a win-win. You owe it to yourself to find peace within and happiness in and outside. The ultimate reward will be enjoying life more fully.
Your happiness meter will enable your Smooth Sale!
