Getting to Know You

We will stay forever

The song ,”Getting to Know You” ,was made popular in an old film classic, The King and I.  Observing others dating, hearing of upcoming interviews and entrepreneurs questioning their sales in progress, I realized that a successful outcome is contingent upon getting to know one another well.  Trust and confidence have to be the underlying motivating force to advance from dating to significant other; from interview to HIRED! candidate, and prospect to client.

Lyrics continue, “Getting to know all about you, getting to like you and hoping you like me…” It’s all very relevant.  So before you leap into telling a hiring manager you want the job; the friend that you wish to be married or the prospect that they must purchase your service, you need to having your mindset focused on building relationships first to achieve your best results.

When you take the process slowly but definitively, making certain the match is a good one before making the long term commitment, you will stand a much better chance of building a satisfying career, attracting a significant other, or a long term client who brings about about additional sales.  Your marketing message comes across loud and clear that the other person is equally important.

When the other party recognizes this about you, your like factor will increase significantly.  This carefully thought out process will allow both of you to know each other well and bring about a win-win for all concerned.

And when you achieve the win-win, you recognize the Smooth Sale!
