A discovered problem requires a possible solution!
Recently I witnessed a conversation between two men that rambled for hours describing all the ills of our society. We were guests in the home of one so I did not want to be rude. My philosophy is no matter where it is one discovers a problem just talking about it will not make it go away. I’ve known people who discuss in minute detail the difficulty dealing with a child, finding a job, reasoning with a manager or lack of ability to make a sale.
Today’s advice is ~ when you discover a problem it is meaningless unless you can think of possible solutions. And even that is not enough. Once you have the ideas that might work to resolve the challenge, they too are meaningless unless you implement them to make the problem go away.
So if you are a job hunter having difficulty finding interviews, an entrepreneur seeking more prospects and clients or an individual disgruntled with your government, find people who will collaborate with you to offer ideas and possibly help resolve your challenges. When others observe you taking the reins to make something better happen you will be attracting the right job, or more prospects and clients. Your leadership capacity will be evident automatically spreading the marketing communication message you are a person to be taken seriously.
By analyzing situations from all sides, it is far easier to come up with a sales plan to implement. Solving problems puts business development on auto pilot.
You then get to enjoy the Smooth Sale!
