Arranging Appointments
Most appointments are important because we view them as furthering our business. Therefore, it is wise to be very specific with details so that there is no misunderstanding. It can be a bit tricky when we hold another in high esteem and so we are uncomfortable asking that person to clarify. Yet, if everyone is not on the same page, the outcome is worse than a moment of embarrassment.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Will you call me, or would you like me to call you?
2. Which time zone are you on?
3. If a foreign time zone – send an example of what you found just in case they are located in a remote area that is on a dfferent clock.
4. Do you prefer office or cell phone?
5. Reconfirm the set date, time, time zone and who will be calling.
You will be glad you did all of the above! Adhering to this will provide the marketing message you are professional and care about making a very good impression. It is the first step to building the relationship.
Attention to details is what will lead you to the Smooth Sale!
