1. Know your best match for clients or companies
Life is too short to accept anything less. You will eliminate much stress and wasted time to be specific about what you are seeking. Business and job, in order to move forward, a little time each day should be spent seeking connections both socially and work-wise.
2. Understand how you solve problems with your inherent talent
Entrepreneurs, salespeople and job seekers should be of the mindset to research the companies first before going into meetings. Figure out where their problems exist and how they can make excellent use of your talent. But before exposing what you do, ask why you were invited in. This provides confirmation that you are on the right track. The conversation develops well from there.
3. Get 3-5 agreements
Questions such as, “Am I the type of candidate or service provider you are seeking?” Getting confirmation will lead to more. By the end of the meeting, check for next steps to be taken in order to move the process along.
