How to get help when you need it most
Most people it seems would rather not succeed than to feel embarrassed that help is required. You are far better off feeling embarrassed (if that is what it does to you) by asking for help than to not achieve what you desire. The quickest way to get help is to ask the person who is most qualified.
I believe it is far more embarrassing to not get the help and look foolish for not asking and not achieving. Particularly as an entrepreneur or a job seeker wanting to find more interviews, you must ask for help. Some people will willingly help you and it will make them feel great that they did some good in the world. A few others will feel superior in that they know something that you don’t and will help you for that reason. No matter the case, most people are flattered when you ask for help and it will build your relationship.
Once you have the help you need, business development becomes a breeze. Your underlying marketing communication message is that you are committed to continual learning and implies that you are committed to your clientele or the career position you are seeking. In so doing you will attract more prospects, clients and sales.
Lastly, when you ask for help in a polite tone and smile on your face, and express gratitude for the time and help itself, you will make a friend in the process. This of course leads to a very Smooth Sale!
