With Whom Do You Compete?

Once I came to understand there is no true competition with others, it became far easier to focus on myself in order to learn how I may improve authentically. Now you may be asking yourself, what?!  

Consider the fact that we each have a unique gene pool, upbringing and series of experiences that uniquely affect our thinking and perspectives. No one else is quite like you.  This is the very reason scripts do not work and there is no true competition.  However, when motivated, we do compete with ourself.

Those with the entrepreneurial spirit and others who wish to advance their career continually pursue knowledge and strategy for getting to the next rung in the ladder.  We compete with ourselves to improve our current state.  The important point is to remain true to who you are enabling you to always communicate your personal brand.  This signals to your client-to-be or employer-to-be the unique you and why they should care.
